J-Gate Training Programme at MITSOM Library

Informatics J-Gate Training Programme at MITSOM  

Informatics (India) Limited, Bangalore, conducted J-Gate Training Programs across India. MITSOM Library team took initiative to organize program in the MITSOM Campus on 19^th July 2012.  Session was attended by 113 participants which includes faculty members and librarians from various institutes of Pune.

The session was inaugurated by Chief Guest Col. (Retd.) Dr. Sneh V.  Sharma Associate Director and Dr.  S. S. Joshi Associate Professor of MITSOM along with Guest of Honor Mr. Sanjay Groover –CEO Informatics.

While addressing the session, all the Guests emphasized on the importance of e-resources in today’s academic world The workshop included pre-lunch and post-lunch sessions followed by Q & A session and Quiz. Winners of the quiz were given surprise gifts and certificates were distributed to all participants of workshop. 

The program concluded with the Vote of thanks given by Mr. Nitin Joshi-Librarian of MITSOM where he requested Informatics to arrange similar programs regularly at individual institutes, and it was accepted by the informatics CEO. The program was well appreciated by the participants.
